Who they are
Arnold Wilkins worked with Robert Watson-Watt on detecting aircraft by radio. The National Physical Laboratory’s history credits his assistance in preparing the February 1935 report and describes the subsequent demonstration using the Daventry transmitter and a bomber. His role belongs to the collaborative development of practical radar and its air-defense applications.
Radar’s development supplies technical context for later aerial detection, including the capabilities and limits behind radar-based reports.
