Who they are
Avi Loeb, also publishing as Abraham Loeb, is a Harvard scientist who leads the Galileo Project’s search for possible extraterrestrial technological objects. In June 2026, DefenseScoop reported his leadership of an outside UAP Science Advisory Council. His research proposals and public organizational role are distinguishable from any determination about the origin of particular UAP.
He connects current scientific proposals for investigating anomalous objects with the timeline’s account of a reported advisory body.
