Dale D. Hoppes
NBS parity-experiment collaborator
Who they are
Dale D. Hoppes was a National Bureau of Standards experimental collaborator on the cobalt-60 parity study led by Chien-Shiung Wu. He appears in the five-person byline with Wu, Ernest Ambler, Raymond Hayward and Ralph Hudson. His contribution belongs to the collaborative laboratory work behind a result usually associated with Wu’s name.
His inclusion restores a named collaborator to an experiment often remembered through only its most prominent participant.

Experimental Test of Parity Conservation in Beta Decay
