John Mack
Psychiatrist and reported-encounter researcher
Also known as John E. Mack
Who they are
John Mack was a psychiatrist who explored accounts of alleged alien encounters and their effects on people. He and Dominique Callimanopulos later interviewed children connected with the Ariel School reports. His books develop psychological and broader spiritual interpretations; these interpretations are distinct from establishing the external cause of an experience.
He connects witness interviewing, psychiatry and the interpretation of extraordinary reports.
