Consciousness researcher; COGITATE co-leader
Also known as L. Melloni
Who they are
Lucia Melloni co-led COGITATE and helped design its common framework for testing rival consciousness theories. The collaboration brought different recording methods into a coordinated study of visual experience. Its results made specific agreements and disagreements with the theories visible without declaring a complete account of consciousness.
Her role is in designing and coordinating an empirical comparison.

Adversarial testing of global neuronal workspace and integrated information theories of consciousness
